Regional Expansion For VW Through JV

Germany's Volkswagen (VW) is entering Indonesia's highly-competitive multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) market through a joint venture (JV) with the Indomobil Group. The JV will initially assemble VW's Touran MPV from completely knocked down (CKD) kits with full-scale production a possibility by 2012, according to a company statement.
