PAN Cutbacks Add To Autos Sector Woes
April 2009 | Company News AlertNigeria's industry has been dealt another bodyblow by the revelation that Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN) is planning mass redundancies and a likely closure of its facility. During a visit to the plant in late March, president of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Alhaji Bashir Borodo, said that it would be cutting its entire workforce of 5,000 and urged the government to support the company.
