GM Cuts Production In Hungary
April 2009 | Company News AlertGeneral Motors Powertrain (GM Powertrain), the Hungarian subsidiary of ailing US giant General Motors (GM), has announced plans to reduce production at its Szentgotthard plant to a four-day week. The carmaker revealed that engine production at the plant had so far been unaffected, despite a nearly 46% year-on-year (y-o-y) fall in domestic new car sales to 7,164 units in February, according to the Association des Constructeurs Européens d'Automobiles
