Used Car Demand On The Rise

Although UK demand for new cars has sharply declined by nearly 22% year-on-year (y-o-y) to 54,359 units in February, the market for used cars is contrastingly upbeat. Total used car sales reached 7.15mn last year, down from 7.48mn units sold in 2007, according to estimates from Experian and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).
