Renault Seeks Aid From Romania

French carmaker Renault has requested EUR170mn in state aid from the Romanian government, including EUR100mn in state guarantees for its loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB). Renault and its Romanian subsidiary Dacia are the biggest players in the market, occupying close to 40% of the total share in the region.
