Ukraine Raises Import Duties On Cars

According to reports from Steelguru, the Ukrainian parliament has approved a law for a temporary rise in import duties of certain non critical goods, including cars, by up to 13 percentage points. BMI believes the rise in import duties is an attempt by the Ukrainian government to protect the domestic market on the one hand and bring in some budget funds on the other.
