Cars In Peru Average 18 Years In Age

News: The Vice President of the Peru Automotive Association, Edwin Derteano has stated that on an average, the age of vehicles used in Peru is 18 years. These cars are imported to the country by certain companies who have the rights to fix and sell used vehicles until December 17 2008. He added that new cars were added very slowly and the country had purchased only 51,017 new cars in 2007.
