Changan Eyes US Market, With JV In Mexico
November 2008 | Company News AlertNews: According to just-auto.com cited by Reuters, the Vice President of Chinese carmaker Changan Automobile, Luo Minggang has stated that company is about to set up a joint venture with a Mexican company to produce compact and mid-sized cars.. He added that the plant is expected to start by end of 2009 or early 2010 and may have the annual capacity of 50.000 cars. The manufacturer also plans to export cars to North America.
