Japan Prepares To Meet Electric Car Target

Japan has become the latest country to enlist the services of California-based Better Place, for testing electric vehicles and charging points. While Better Place will contribute to the network of charging stations, around 50 electric cars will be handed over to government departments for testing. The mostly domestic range includes the Mitsubishi iMiev compact car, the Subaru Stella and the Honda FCX Clarity fuel cell vehicle, which is already on lease in California.
