Auto Industry May Shed 10,000 Workers By Early 2009
November 2008 | Industry NewsNews: Antonin Sipek, the director of the Automobile Industry Association (AIA) of the Czech Republic, has disclosed that the country could witness 10,000 job cuts by automakers in 2008 and early 2009. However, he added that the estimate was pessimistic, and that the impact would be primarily on temporary workers working with car parts suppliers.
