VWSA To Invest ZAR3bn In Local Manufacturing Facility
November 2008 | Company News AlertNews: German automaker Volkswagen has disclosed that it will be investing ZAR3bn (US$397.4mn) over a period of three years till 2010, on its South African facility in Uitenhage. Volkswagen South Africa (VWSA) intends to restructure the manufacturing facility and increase the local content of the vehicles, resulting in increased productivity for both domestic and foreign markets.
