First Electric Cars Take To Dubai Roads

Dubai conglomerate SS Lootah Group has taken receipt of the first electric cars in the Gulf region. The fleet will become part of SS Lootah's 'Green Car Programme', which includes the use of compressed natural gas (CNG), hybrid vehicles and high-mileage vehicles in its fleet. The programme was established three years ago to coincide with the emirate's move towards sustainability, which includes a strong focus on all forms of transport.
