Land Rover Goes From Off-Road To Offsetting
November 2008 | Project NewsLand Rover is extending its CO2 offsetting programme to the Gulf and Levant market, which will be the first region outside of the UK and Europe to take part in the scheme. Under the programme, which began on October 1, the first 72,000km travelled by all Land Rover and Range Rover models sold in the region will be offset to fund projects that focus on the reduction of CO2 emissions. Land Rover is looking to offset over 2mn tonnes of CO2 as part of the scheme, although more may be achieved as customers will be given the opportunity to continue
