Nissan SA Looks To Raise Local Content

Japan's Nissan has announced an investment of ZAR1bn in its plant in Rosslyn, South Africa, as the company targets a higher level of local content in its domestically produced models. According to Nissan South Africa Managing Director Mike Whitfield, the majority of the funding will be allocated towards tooling for the plant and the localisation of content.
