Chrysler Talks To German Axle Maker For Alliance

US automaker Chrysler has confirmed that it is holding talks with German automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen about the possibility of allowing the supplier to use its upcoming plant for the production of axles in Maryville. The talks are believed to be in line with Chrysler's broader strategy of raising extra cash from its organisation, after the group was sold off by Daimler to Cerberus Capital Management.
