Car Tax To Hit Car Owners In Estonia

According to local sources, the Estonian government is preparing for the announcement of a car tax to be introduced in Estonia. Reform Party member Jürgen Ligi said that the car registration tax, which will be levied on the ownership of a vehicle, is likely to be EEK 10,000. However, it is still not clear whether the tax will be a one-off charge or an annual tax.
