Ssangyong Finds Better Sales In Brazil

Ssangyong, the South Korean unit of China's Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp. (SAIC), has seen overall vehicle sales plunge by as much as 26% year-on-year (y-o-y), with last month's sales totalling just 7,392 units. However, the auto manufacturer's Brazilian subsidiary posted a staggering 1,873% increase in sales for the same month, selling 182 units in June. Ssangyong Brazil's SUV sales reached 750 units in H108, against 38 units sold in H107, the company reported.
