Daimler Brings Investment To Hungary

Stuttgart-based automaker Daimler has revealed plans to invest some EUR800mn (US$1.24mn) to build a new car plant in Hungary, for the production of compact models of its flagship Mercedes Benz brand. The company is yet to sign a memorandum of understanding for the new plant, however, which is likely to be located in Kecskemet, south east of Budapest.
