Carmakers Battle For A Larger Share In Brazil
June 2008 | Industry NewsCarmakers are increasingly trying to capture a larger market share in the Brazilian industry and new models seem to be the solution for it. Japanese manufacturer Toyota is currently planning to make around 200,000 small economy cars and engines in Brazil annually. With an investment of more than US$1bn, the car manufacturer is planning to build its second car plant in Sao Paulo state, with the start of production expected by 2010.
