Honda And Hyundai Post Record Canadian Sales

The success of Asian carmakers over their domestic counterparts in North America has been further driven home by record results in May for both Honda and Hyundai in Canada. Honda Canada recorded its best-ever monthly sales for both its Honda and Acura brands separately and combined. The total sales of 18,892 units were 4% higher than May 2007, comprising a record 16,896 Honda vehicles, up 3% year-on-year (y-o-y), and 1,996 units for the Acura brand, up 13% y-o-y.
