Germany Clashes With EU On VW Law
May 2008 | Legal NewsThe German government seems to be heading for a clash with the European Commission (EC) over the revised Volkswagen (VW) law. The bill, which is yet to be presented before Chancellor Angela Merkel's cabinet and then to Parliament for approval, faces the threat of breaching the European Union's (EU) regulation of free capital movement within the EU.
