CAW Ratifies Big Three Agreements Ahead Of Schedule
May 2008 | Industry NewsThe Canadian Auto Workers union (CAW) has now ratified the labour agreements from all Big Three carmakers, after the Chrysler and General Motors deals were agreed this week. CAW members voted 84% in favour of the GM deal and 87% for the Chrysler agreement, which both include product commitments for existing plants. This is a more convincing result than the Ford agreement, which received 78% support earlier in May.
