Isuzu Takes Over Indonesian Distributor

Japan's Isuzu Motor has taken steps to enhance its position in Indonesia's commercial vehicle segment by increasing its stake in local manufacturer and distributor Pantja Motor. Prior to the deal, the 50% majority stake in Pantja was held by Arya Kharisma, with Isuzu holding 39.88% and the remaining 10.12% held by Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI). Under the terms of the deal, Isuzu has acquired an additional 5.06% from Arya Kharisma, as well as the licensing rights from its parent company Astra International.
