BMW Achieves Record Q1 In UAE

BMW's exclusive distributor for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Motors, has reported record sales for the BMW and MINI brand in Q108. The 62.1% year-on-year (y-o-y) increase took sales to 683 units for the three-month period, on the back of a record 2007 when sales were up by 36% y-o-y. Abu Dhabi Motors general manager Arno Husselmann has cited new product launches as a key driver of growth in the emirates.
