Continental To Inflate China Sales
April 2008 | Project NewsGermany's Continental AG, producer of tyres and automotive components, expects its sales in the high-growth Chinese market to double by 2010. The company helped its cause to a large extent with the acquisition of Siemens VDO in 2007, which has enabled Continental to supply powertrain systems for both diesel and petrol engines. The deal also doubled Continental's facilities in the country, where it currently has a workforce of 9,000 people.
