Nissan Pursues Growth In Spain

April 2008 | Company News Alert

Nissan has pledged to keep the pedal pressed on investments in Spain in order to strengthen its position in the market. In line with a plan announced at the start of 2007, Nissan is bidding to sell 100,000 units in the country by 2010, 13,000 units of which are expected to be sold in Madrid. The Spanish capital reportedly accounts for 23% of total national sales but in the past the carmaker has been under-represented in the city. The target of 13,000 units by 2010 would be a significant 60% increase on sales reported for 2006.
