Opel Knocks Toyota Off Top Spot In Bulgarian New Car Market
March 2008 | Company News AlertOpel has become the best-selling brand in Bulgaria according to data from the Union of Automobile Importers In Bulgaria (SVAB). During the period January-February 2008, the 10 Opel dealers operating in the country sold 1,009 units, taking a market share of 11.7%. The development is significant because it is the first time since SVAB began keeping records of car sales in 1992 that Opel has topped the rankings. Toyota, which had held onto the top spot since January 2007, slipped into second place.
