Madrid Still Key, Says Peugeot Citroën
March 2008 | Company News AlertPSA Peugeot Citroën says its plant in Madrid, Spain will not be awarded any new projects at the moment, but will continue to play a significant role in the company's strategy for growth. The French carmaker is a key player on the Spanish market in terms of both production and sales. Citroën ended 2007 as the biggest carmaker by sales on the market, while Peugeot has made a positive start to 2008. The carmaker's plant in Madrid has the distinction of being the only one in the world where the manufacturer produces the Peugeot 207, of which Peugeot sold 520,000
