Toyota Eyes Korean Competition
March 2008 | Company News AlertJapanese carmaker Toyota is planning to follow its compatriots into the Korean market, after witnessing the success of Honda. Since the Toyota Korea sales unit was established in 2000, the group has only sold the Lexus premium brand in the country. However, with Honda firmly making its mark on imported sales and Nissan and Mitsubishi announcing their intent to enter the market, Toyota believes it is time to follow suit.
