Isuzu Expects Further Growth in UAE Truck Market

Japanese truck maker Isuzu has expanded its showroom facilities in the UAE in line with projected sales growth of 30% for 2008. The firm's local distributor, General Navigation & Commerce Company (GENAVCO), has opened two new centres in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, selling Isuzu's light, medium and heavy trucks. GENAVCO president Sharief Khalid cited the UAE's economic boom, which has generated demand for transport and contributed to Isuzu's sales growth, as the catalyst for the expansion.
