Faurecia Shrugs Off Loss To Target Further Growth
February 2008 | Company News AlertFrench car parts maker Faurecia has reported a higher-than-expected loss for 2007. According to industry data, the company's loss for 2007 totalled EUR237.5mn. While the figure was a considerable improvement on the previous year's loss of EUR447.9mn, it was well above the EUR139mn certain analysts had been predicting. In BMI's view, Faurecia's ability to lower its financial loss confirms the success of its restructuring programme, particularly given the tough operating climate the company has faced in Europe and North America.
