Audi Middle East Sales Soar On Back Of Luxury Boom
February 2008 | Company News AlertAudi's Middle East sales broke records in 2007, according to figures released this week.Audi dealers in the region sold 6,380 new vehicles during 2007, up 38.2 % over 2006. High levels of growth were recorded in Jordan (266.9%), Kuwait (76.7%) and Dubai (52.4%). Rising demand for luxury cars coupled with a growing model line-up helped stimulate sales. The new TT coupé and roadster models, the R8 high performance sports car and an updated A8 model were launched on the regional market in 2007. Meanwhile, sales of the Q7 SUV soared 97.9%, with the A4 and A6 also reportedly performing strongly.
