Lotus Helps Saudi Auto Industry Blossom
January 2008 | Project NewsThe engineering division of UK sports car manufacturer Lotus has joined forces with Saudi Arabia's King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) to develop the Kingdom's automotive industry. The first stage of the co-operation involved establishing a research, development and test centre for engines, using the Lotus Optical Research Engine. Proton, Lotus' Malaysian parent company, has also been involved in the joint project, contributing engineers to work alongside counterparts from KACST and Lotus.
