Israel To Introduce Green Tax

January 2008 | Legal News

Under the terms of the new scheme, cars with lower emission will be charged at a 10% tax rate, while those considered less 'green' will be charged at 60%. However, the government statement went on to say that from 2015, taxes on cleaner cars would be increased, while the rates on less environmentally friendly cars would be lowered.
