December 2007 | Company News AlertUS carmaker General Motors has become the first foreign company to sell one million vehicles in a year in China, reaching the sales target that it set for 2007. The growth of GM China has been relatively rapid, with sales of 100,000 units per year first achieved in 2002, followed by the 500,000 per year mark in 2005. Fittingly, the one millionth car sold was a Buick, which has been one of GM China's best performing brands.
