Soaring Sales Prompt BMI To Raise Forecast

BMI has significantly raised its forecast for Colombian vehicle sales in 2007. As we reflect in the latest Colombia Automotives Report, car sales have soared in 2007, following the stellar performance of 2006 and in keeping with a general trend across Latin America. In 2007 vehicle sales in Colombia have been driven by strong economic growth, low interest rates, the strength of the peso against the US dollar and trade agreements.
