Holden Prepares G8 For Export
July 2007 | Project NewsAustralia's GM Holden has unveiled the prototype of its Pontiac G8 model, which will be exported to the US from 2008. The General Motors subsidiary expects to export over 30,000 units per year of the model, which is based on the Holden VE Commodore. Manufacturing director Rod Keane stated that the new project would redress the balance of the company's operations, from being a company that mostly exports, to a 50:50 domestic to export production ratio.
