Implementation Of EU Vehicle Recycling Law Called Into Question
May 2007 | Legal NewsThe End-Of-Life Vehicles (ELV) Directive is still not being properly implemented across Europe, four years after it came into force. As a result, the automotive industry is unlikely to have met vehicle recycling targets. This is the conclusion of a new study, commissioned by the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) Committee of the European Parliament and completed in March 2007 by the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP).
