Bahrain Plants Boost Potential

The first of two new car manufacturing plants opened in Bahrain in April 2007, marking a first for the Middle East and bolstering Bahrain's hopes of becoming a regional automotive retail hub. This will be key to maintaining the high level of sales growth seen in 2006, when vehicle registrations rose by around 12%, according to BMI's latest Bahrain Automotive
