Singapore Sales Slow Further
May 2007 | BMI ViewNew vehicle sales for the first three months of 2007 suggest that growth in Singapore may be slowing still further. BMI's recently published Singapore Automotives Report shows that new registrations in 2006 of 149,083 units showed a continuation of the trend towards slower growth, falling from 10% in 2005 to 2.77% in 2006. The deceleration in the market was compounded in the year to March, as sales in Q107 were 10% lower y-o-y.
