GAZ Pursues Growth With LDV Vans

Russia's Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ) has ambitious plans to become a global player in the commercial vehicle market. UK-based LDV, formerly known as Leyland Daf, is a key factor in GAZ's plans for growth. GAZ acquired the troubled van manufacturer from venture capitalists Sun Capital Partners in August 2006.
