BMI's High Hopes For Vietnam

Positive stock market activity in the first quarter of 2007 has generated something of a turnaround in Vietnam's new vehicle market. Both domestically-produced and imported vehicle sales doubled during the three-month period, compared with Q106, while the passenger car segment grew by over 200%. BMI's Vietnam Autos Report highlights the opportunities for sustaining this return to growth during the remainder of 2007 and over the five-year forecast period, especially in light of Ford Vietnam securing the largest contract in its history.
