Hyundai Targets Indonesia Commercial Segment

South Korea's Hyundai plans to produce commercial vehicles at a new plant in Indonesia. The company has invested US$23mn in the facility, which is being built by local partner Korindo Group and will have an annual production capacity of 6,000 units, comprising 3,600 buses and 2,400 trucks. Korindo will also be responsible for the sales and marketing of the vehicles, while Hyundai will oversee quality control.
