Venezuelan Car Industry Makes Strong Start To 2007
February 2007 | Industry NewsVenezuela's automotive industry has got off to a roaring start in 2007. According to industry data, demand for new cars is such that around 90,000 buyers are waiting for their vehicles to roll off the assembly line. Despite production in January reaching its highest level since 2002, these buyers face a wait of between three and four months. Sales soared by 40% to 28,619 units in January against the same month a year before. With industry representatives predicting that car sales will exceed 300,000 units in 2007,
