Ford Continues To Miss The Mark
February 2007 | Company News AlertUS carmaker Ford has reported to its employees that US retail sales during the month of January were 10,600 units short of the company's forecast. The news got worse as the statement went on to admit that targets for February and March were also unlikely to be achieved. Moreover, after meeting its goal of reducing material costs by US$400mn in January, Ford added that the 15-20% reductions in February and March would not be met.
