Toyota And Honda In Mid-Range Battle
January 2007 | Project NewsJapanese rivals Toyota and Honda both plan to raise production of their mid-range sedans in China this year, as demand in the segment increases. Toyota's local joint venture, Guangzhou Toyota Motor, will double its 2006 output of the Camry sedan to produce 150,000 units this year, after 61,000 units were produced between the plant's launch in May 2006 and year-end.
