Kia's European Offensive Gains Pace

Kia is stepping up its European offensive. The South Korean carmaker's C-segment Ceed vehicles have begun to roll off the assembly line at its new manufacturing plant in Zilina, Slovakia, and the company has just announced that it will add an engine plant to the facility at which it will manufacture diesel and gasoline engines. Kia is making a concerted effort to adapt its product range to consumer tastes with the end objective of gaining a greater share of the European market.
