Hyundai Plans Bright Future
January 2007 | Company Finance AlertSouth Korea's Hyundai Motor plans to follow up its 5% increase in global revenues in 2006 with a 13.5% boost in 2007. In a filing to the Korea Exchange, the carmaker stated that it plans to generate global revenues of KRW42trn this year, compared with KRW37trn in 2006. This represented a 5.7% increase from revenues of KRW35trn in 2005, although profits were hit by the strengthening won and labour action.
