Giants Disappoint, Minis Save The Day
December 2006 | BMI ViewDespite falling monthly sales for much of the year, Australia is still on track to record its second-best ever year of sales. Sales for the year to November stood at 885,603, down 2.6% y-o-y, but this should still meet the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries' forecast of 970,000. In its recently published Australia Automotives Report, BMI takes a slightly more cautious view of 967,000 units, as the slowdown is expected to continue into December.
