November 2006 | Business Environment OutlookKuwait's ranking dropped from fifth place with Egypt to joint sixth with Israel this quarter. Kuwait lags behind in terms of its regulatory regime and competitive environment. It also has no significant production base. A more open economy and an increase in the number of showroom-based dealerships - as opposed to informal road-side sellers - would boost Kuwait's score.
